Matt Ahern-Wirth-Service Manager
When you walk in the door, you will greeted by one of our Service Managers. Meet Matt Ahern-Wirth, who joined the Allied Auto Works team in 2012. Matt enjoys helping customers with their vehicle service and repairs while at the same time knowing he is building lasting customer relationships with them. He has been in the automotive industry for over 12 years and is a college graduate in business and marketing. On his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife Monique Marie who he married on August 1, 2015, his family and friends. He enjoys traveling and the outdoors. Water craft, motorcycles and golfing are some of the outdoor activities that Matt enjoys. He currently lives San Jose with his wife.
Travis Damberger-Service Manager
Travis Damberger works along side Matt as Service Manager. They compliment each other. Travis joined the Allied Auto Works team in 2013. He has over 12 years in the automotive industry and enjoys helping customers with their vehicles needs and making sure they are taken care of in the best possible way. “I am a people person and enjoy helping people.” He graduated from Oklahoma Panhandle State University in 2008. When he is not managing the store, he enjoys traveling with his wife and engaging in competitive sports. He played semi-pro football this year. Hats and shoes, Travis loves to collect them. Ladies you would be jealous of the shoes! He also has 7 tatoos- all which represent either family or someone in his life. Travis and his wife share a cat named MJ. Stop by and meet Travis and by the way he is also a 49er and Shark’s fan.
Sacramento Cabello-Lead Technician
Meet Sacramento Cabello, lead technician for Allied Auto Works. He joined Allied Auto Works in May 2013 and has been a great addition to the team. His interest in automotive stems all the way back when he was a sophomore in high school and started taking classes offered at school. After graduation, he attended the College of San Mateo (FAA Certified Airframe & Power plant mechanic) and then finished 3 years at Skyline College for Automotive. He received the “Technician of the Year” award and became a full ASE Master Technician when he graduated. Sac has been doing automotive repair now for over 14 years. In 2010 he married and had his first baby, a little girl in 2014. In his spare time, he enjoys sailing, spending time with family, barbequing and baking treats. Sac enjoys working in the automotive field because it incorporates both the physical and mental challenge which requires problem solving skills especially when it comes to diagnosing a car correctly today with all the computer components that make up today’s complex vehicles. “It’s a constant changing industry that requires ongoing training and learning every day. I enjoy that.” said Sac.
Tony R. Sifuentes-Technician
Tony joined the Allied Auto Work’s team in June 2015 and has been a great asset to the group. He was born and raised in San Jose and as child always found himself messing around in the garage and taking things apart. As he got older he realized how much he like working with his hands and enrolled in Auto Tech classes at CCOC (occupational center) in high school. He moved on to Evergreen College and continued his automotive career path there. He has been working in the automotive industry for over 12 years and he says “Getting to work with an amazing company like Allied Auto Works reminds me why I love my career. He enjoys the family environment of small shop and the ever growing field of the automotive industry which is always pushing his knowledge and skills to the next level. “Being an Automotive Technician is a great skill, I can go anywhere in the world and use my skills to help others. I look forward to everyday learning something new.” On his free time, Tony enjoys riding his Harley, working on his ’95 Yukon project and playing at Pismo Beach.
Terry joined Allied Auto Works in May of 2014. He has been in the automotive industry for over 7 years. He first became interested in cars when he got his own vehicles and started learning how to repair them. He decided he wanted to pursue the profession. He finds the industry is constantly evolving and changing every day. The vehicles are becoming more complex and challenging which he finds keeps him interested in learning more and more to become an even better technician and Allied Auto Works has given him that opportunity. In his spare time, he likes to hang out with family, play guitar and has been involved in many forms of Martial Arts.
Rod joined Allied Auto Works in February 2015 and has been a great addition to the team. He has over 25 years as an Auto Technician working for Independent Shops and Dealerships, both contributing to his expertise and knowledge. When ask why he enjoys working in the Automotive field, his response was “I enjoy working on cars and trucks because it is a constant evolving industry with both the technology and science that goes into it. “ On his spare time, Rod loves working on home projects, hiking, camping or any outdoor activity and wine tasting. He is an avid sports fan of the 49er’s and Oakland A’s and enjoys going to see the A’s in action. He has 2 children, David who is 28 years old and Justine who is 19 years old. We are glad to have to Rod on board our team."
Joshua Decena-Shop Assistant
Joshua came on board April 2014 and is a Shop Assistant helping support the Service Managers and the technicians. He is a current student at De Anza College in the Automotive Technology program. His personal hobbies consist of playing soccer and golf. He also is trained in traditional Hawaiian dance and performs throughout the Bay area with his dance team. He has 2 sisters making him the middle child and tricolor mini Australian Shepherd named Spark. He is trained in electrical equipment diagnostic from ETS in Indianapolis, IN and was working as equipment technician before coming to work for Allied Auto Works. He chose to work at Allied to help him gain the knowledge that will be necessary to become a great diagnostician in the automotive field.
